Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Best Hotel in Lake Kawaguchiko (probably whole Japan). The breakfast was so clean and fresh. In room onsen was so good after walking around the lake and before the check-out to refresh you.

Ryokan Hostel K’s House ligger i en 100 år gammal kulturminnesmärkt byggnad i Shizuoka, 7 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen JR Ito. Vandrarhemmet erbjuder termalbad, gratis WiFi och 3 lounger. This is a beautiful and tranquil ryokan that has a calming atmosphere. It backs to the river and our room overlooked it. There is also shared eating spaces adjacent to the river. It is extremely clean, has a shared cooking area with mostly everything you need to make your own meals. The onsen was incredibly relaxing and spa-like. There are also laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is just a short 8 minute walk from the train/bus station. Our family of 5 (kids ages 7-13) absolutely loved it and would definitely return to stay here!! And the price for a ryokan/onsen is unbeatable. Plus, with the Jogasaki coast, Mt Omuro, Zoo and waterfalls, there is plenty to do on the peninsula and it’s easy to get around.

Iroriyado Hidaya ligger i Takayama, 18 minuters promenad från Takayama station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. Kindness of the personnel and service. Cleanliness. Typical japanese house and commodities. Futon used to sleep but very comfortable. We were proposed to be driven to the station since no taxi was available because of the festival period.

Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

八海 木花館 ligger i Oshino, 10 km från Fuji-Q Highland, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en trädgård. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

SOKI ATAMI ligger i Atami, 1,7 km från Atami Sun strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. It was a beautiful retreat that allowed you to unwind in a small coastal town. The traditional Japanese breakfast was wonderful and the onsen amenities were fantastic.

Toraya ligger i Gero, 48 km från Takayama station, och erbjuder utsikt över bergen. Denna ryokan med 3 stjärnor har luftkonditionerade rum med gratis WiFi och eget badrum. I like how the property is clean and has a good location.
