I was just passing through this time but the people in Arkansas are so friendly and welcoming. Sim's BBQ had been recommended by a local but because of the storms we were not able to try it. Hot Springs is pretty close, too, and has many nice trails for walkers right around the National Park which surrounds the town. And don't miss McClard's BBQ if in Hot Springs. Uber is a great way to get around if you don't have a car. Also not in LR, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is exceptional (and free) if you are able to get to Bentonville.

We wouldnt stay here again due to the noise from the people upstairs. The staff didnt bother to ask the people to quiet down. We were up til midnight, when it finally got quiet. The road traffic is a bit loud also. The beds are more firm. Our backs were hurting. If you like firm beds and noise, this is your hotel. Little rock was probably the rudest place I have ever experienced. A certain group of people really made it terrible. It is a nice place in its scenery, but the oppressed people are horrible especially the staff at the hospital. We are from Texas and just smiled away at the rudeness.Perez - 10Scored 10

The presentation was so pretty and the food was scrumptious! But usually the best part of staying in a Bed and Breakfast is getting to know the people and the places you are visiting. Getting to visit with Antonio, the owner, was that for us. He made us feel right at home like we were visiting family. Our visit with Antonio will be a big part of the memories that we take home from that visit to the Empress of Little Rock.
